Facilitating Connection and Learning

My Role in Developing ADHD Together

Background

As a digital designer at Local Welcome since 2018, I was presented with the challenge of developing a new service in line with our organization's vision, mission, and goals that was also safe for everyone involved due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This led to the creation of ADHD Together, an online video call session where people with ADHD can meet and learn from each other's experiences.

My Contributions

  1. Workshop Design and Facilitation: I designed and led two workshops that played a crucial role in developing ADHD Together from an idea into a service. The first workshop focused on analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of our existing model and evaluating the risks and opportunities posed by Covid. The second workshop involved idea generation, where team members designed conceptual services, iterated on their ideas, and presented sketches.

  2. Brand Identity and Advertising: I designed the brand identity for ADHD Together and created targeted social media advertisements to attract interested individuals with ADHD to sign up for online sessions.

  3. User Journey and Technical Setup: I played a key role in designing user journeys with sign-up flows and setting up the customer relationship management system.

Results

ADHD Together launched in October 2020, and by January 2021, the service had attracted 305 sign-ups, hosted 13 sessions with 107 attendees across three different groups, and achieved an overall NPS score of 86. My work as a digital designer with ADHD Together contributed to fostering connections and learning experiences for individuals with ADHD during challenging times.
